Reset/Request Password provides the ability for an account to activate or reset their password. To use this process, the user must have supplied an email address during account creation. If the email adress was not supplied, this process will not work and the user must contact the AIM/AEE representative for support.
Step 1) Provide the Control#, Id#, and select "Send Request".
Step 2) An email link will be sent to the predefined email address.
Step 3) The user must then validate the request by clicking on the link within the email message.
Step 4) A confirmation email will arrive with the new password, and the account password will be reset.
Note - If the link is not selected within 7 days of being sent, the request will expire.
